Patient story: Brian Fields

About this Video
Brian Fields struggled with acid reflux issues for years, making it difficult for him to enjoy meals with friends and family. An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy performed by King’s Daughters Gastroenterologist Garfield Grandison, M.D., showed Brian had a hiatal hernia, esophagitis, a stricture (narrowing of the esophagus) and a long-segment of Barrett’s esophagus. Following a few radio frequency ablation treatments and anti-reflux surgery performed by King’s Daughters General Surgeon Roderick Tompkins, M.D., Brian is now living a wonderful life.
