Heart surgery program recognized by Consumer Reports

Congratulations to King’s Daughters cardiothoracic surgeons Robert Fried, M.D., Eric Bronstein, M.D., and Juan Bastidas, M.D., and the entire open-heart surgery team at King’s Daughters for once again being recognized by Consumer Reports as a top hospital for heart surgery.

Consumer Reports recognized King’s Daughters for doing well in “both heart bypass and aortic valve replacement in terms of complications, mortality, and other factors.” King’s Daughters was one of only two hospitals in the state of Kentucky to be recognized, and is the only hospital in the Tri-State to earn the recognition.
