Now in its sixth year, the AED Donation Program of King's Daughters Health Foundation and King's Daughters Auxiliary has provided more than 150 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to community organizations throughout the UK King's Daughters Service area.
We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2025 program are open now through February 7, 2025.
To be eligible, applicants must be an IRS-designated non-profit organization. Awards are based on community need, with priority given to:
- First responders, especially in rural areas
- Organizations that are open/serve the public 24/7
- Organizations that don't currently have an AED

Organizations located in or serving residents of the following counties:
- In Kentucky: Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Floyd, Greenup, Johnson, Lawrence, Lewis and Martin
- In Ohio: Lawrence, Scioto
Successful applicants will be required to attest to the organization's ability to maintain, use and secure the AED appropriately. At least one individual representing the organization will be required to undergo AED training or provide documentation of such training.
