The American Heart Association has awarded UK King’s Daughters a national Silver level recognition for its commitments to team member health and well-being as measured in the AHA’s 2023 Workforce Well-being Scorecard™.
King’s Daughters is one of more than 500 organizations nationwide that completed the scorecard, which evaluates factors such as mental health policies, organizational well-being strategies to address burnout, health equity measures, and employee financial resources to provide a comprehensive assessment of an organization’s culture of health.
"Improving the overall health and well-being of our team members is one of our top priorities,” said Jamie Parsons, Vice President of Human Resources at King’s Daughters. “The Silver recognition demonstrates our dedication to building a culture that helps everyone thrive, both in and out of the workplace.”
Research has shown that supporting the mental and physical well-being of team members is vital to driving productivity, engagement and job satisfaction. By investing in a culture of health in the workplace, organizations can improve retention and bolster their organizational reputation.
