Community participation needed for Health Needs Assessment
King’s Daughters is asking for the community’s participation in the 2022 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to help better understand our area’s top health issues.
From now through Saturday, April 30 residents of Boyd, Carter and Greenup counties in Kentucky and Lawrence County, Ohio, are asked to fill out the online CHNA survey at kd-yourcommunity.questionpro.com A Spanish version is also available at kd-tucomunidad.questionpro.com
The survey includes questions about access to primary care, specialty physicians, health insurance coverage and use of emergency and urgent care treatment facilities. Participants are asked to identify the top five health issues in their communities and the challenges individuals face in accessing healthcare services.
“The CHNA provides us with a look into the areas our community feels could use improvement,” said Diva Justice, manager of Kings Daughters Community Relations. “It is an important tool that is utilized by many local organizations, including King’s Daughters.”
Survey responses will be used in conjunction with other research to develop plans to meet community needs over the next three years.
All responses are strictly confidential and will not be linked to any name, ISP, email or any other identifier.
All results will be available to the public once the community survey process has been completed and results analyzed.
