Have you ever considered a job in patient care, but the opportunity wasn't there? Now could be YOUR time to join the King's Daughters family as a patient care technician.
We are happy to announce a new collaboration with Ashland Community and Technical College where we are sponsoring 30 new patient care technician careers! These medical professionals work with nurses to provide care to patients during office visits and hospital stays. Patient care technicians are responsible for blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse checks throughout the day.
We will pay the full cost of the program, book and test, plus an hourly rate for you to attend the course, which will be eight hours a day, Monday through Friday, for two weeks.
Once the course is completed, you will work a full-time schedule (12-hour shifts) with limited patient care duties until certification is received. Once certified, you will have the option to work in our Acute or Long Term Care setting.
Qualifications for this opportunity include the following:
- HS Diploma/GED
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption
- Able to commit to 1 year of employment following the course completion
