Parking and entry hour changes, shuttle services coming in the next two weeks

Visitors to our Ashland campus can see the tell-tale signs of upcoming construction activity. We will share more on that next week. As part of this upcoming project, we would like to share that nearly all of the block between 22nd and 23rd Streets and Bath and Carter Avenues will be permanently closed beginning Wednesday, Aug. 31. There will still be dedicated patient and visitor parking behind the Ashland First Church of the Nazarene, as well as handicapped parking beside the church.

Ahead of our big news, we've been making improvements to make coming to King's Daughters as easy as possible. First, we are dedicating the closest parking spaces to the main building to the people most important to us: our patients and visitors. We also are adding something new—parking lot attendants in areas closest to the main building to assist visitors in finding parking as close as possible.

We also are expanding shuttle service beginning Monday, Aug. 29. This service will run from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. Simply wait near your vehicle and watch for one of our three white transport buses. We anticipate short waits of 10 minutes or less as our three shuttles make their way throughout our campus.

Also, our popular valet service now will be available from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

With more patients coming to us for care, we also are expanding our hours. Beginning Sunday, Sept. 4, our entrances will be open longer and staffed with friendly, knowledgeable team members who can help patients and visitors find their destinations. Our entrance hours will be:

• Lexington Avenue: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Medical Plaza A: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Medical Plaza B: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Parkview Patient Tower 1: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Parkview Patient Tower 2: open 24/7

Saturday and Sunday

• Lexington Avenue: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
• Medical Plaza A: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Parkview Patient Tower 1: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Parkview Patient Tower 2: open 24/7
