King’s Daughters welcomes nurse practitioners Tracy Ricewick, APRN, and Jesse “Brent” Sergent, APRN, to KDMS – Nephrology and Hypertension Specialists.
Prior to joining King's Daughters, Ricewick was employed as a nurse practitioner at Marshall Health, working in the Nephrology Department. He also provided care to patients at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, working in the Cardiology Department. Ricewick earned his master of science in nursing, nurse practitioner, from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minn. and his bachelor of science in nursing at Ohio University Southern, Ironton. Ricewick is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Sergent earned his master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner, from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minn. and his associates in nursing from Shawnee State University, Portsmouth, Ohio. He has been employed by King’s Daughters since 2013, working as a registered nurse. Sergent is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Nephrology is the specialty that focuses on the treatment of patients with kidney disease and manages the care of patients requiring renal replacement therapy, including hemodialysis. KDMS – Nephrology providers have a special interest in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and offer specialized clinics to help patients manage difficult-to-control high blood pressure.
