Healthy hearts screening set for February

February is heart month – a perfect time to get your heart health checked. King’s Daughters has scheduled several free Healthy Heart with EKG Screenings in the Ashland area during February.

The screenings include checks of total cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, oxygen and a screening EKG. A King’s Daughters health professional will review results.

All screenings are held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. aboard the King’s Daughters Mobile Health Unit. Appointments are required and may be made by calling 1-888-377-KDMC (5362).

• Tuesday, Feb. 4 – Advance Auto Parts, 6079 U.S. Route 60, Summit
• Wednesday, Feb. 5 – Kentucky Farmers Bank, 2500 Broadway St., Catlettsburg
• Monday, Feb. 10 – Ashland Rotary Club. Unit will be parked in the lot behind the Elks Lodge, corner of Ninth Street and Central Avenue.
• Wednesday, Feb. 12 – Members Choice Credit Union, 1401 Central Ave., Ashland
