Hassan Abul-Khoudoud, M.D., joins hospitalist team

King’s Daughters Medical Center welcomes family physician Hassan Abul-Khoudoud, M.D., to its team of hospitalists providing care for hospitalized patients at the medical center.

Dr. Abul-Khoudoud earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his family medicine residency at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Hospitalists specialize in providing care to hospitalized patients. Because they are available in the hospital 24/7, they are able to respond quickly to any change of status; update treatment plans based on the latest laboratory testing; coordinate specialist care; and make referrals for any services needed following hospitalization.

Dr. Abul-Khoudoud has been a member of King’s Daughters medical staff for several years, practicing at Central Avenue Primary Care. He will see patients in the practice on a limited basis. Family Nurse Practitioner Tina England, APRN, continues in her role at the practice.
