King’s Daughters team members initiated a giving campaign for those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Employees contributed $5,500 to American Red Cross rescue and recovery efforts. Assistance will help those affected by Hurricane Harvey providing emotional support, spiritual care, temporary housing, food and health services such as medications and eyeglasses replacement.
“An outpouring of concern for Hurricane Harvey victims was immediate,” said Katie Arnett, King’s Daughters director of Materials Management and American Red Cross board member. “I am thankful for the generosity of team members and the difference they make in communities across the U.S.”
“The generosity and compassion of team King’s Daughters knows no bounds,” said Jaime Martinez, King’s Daughters director of Home Medical Equipment and American Red Cross board member. “Their giving extends past our community. When those are in need, they step up.”
The local chapter of the American Red Cross has been busy deploying support to multiple disasters offering support in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rice, Las Vegas and California.
