Diabetes health fair offered in Prestonsburg

In honor of National Diabetes Awareness Month in November, King’s
Daughters Center for Healthy Living is hosting a diabetes health fair
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at King’s Daughters Family
Care Center, 1279 Old Abbott Mountain Road, Prestonsburg, Ky.
The health fair will feature free blood glucose (sugar) checks, along
with education, healthy recipes, snacks and door prizes.
In addition, King’s Daughters Surgical Weight Loss team members
also will be there to speak with anyone interested in bariatric surgery.
