King’s Daughters Wheelersburg hosts open house, screenings on March 30
King’s Daughters Family Care Center Wheelersburg is holding an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 30 and the public is invited.
Screenings will include checks of blood glucose levels and blood pressure, two important health indicators. The facility is located at 8750 Ohio River Road.
Health is the foundation that makes dreams possible. Staying healthy takes effort: eating well, getting physical activity and getting regular checkups and preventive health services. “We’re excited to invite the community to visit our centers,” said Lisa Ashley, primary care team leader.
Primary care is the cornerstone of healthy people, families and communities. Research shows that people who have a primary care provider are, overall, healthier and live longer lives. “We hope people who don’t have a primary care provider will take advantage of this opportunity to meet our team and establish with a primary care provider,” Ashley said.
King’s Daughters Wheelersburg providers include family physician Jerod C. Walker, D.O., and nurse practitioners Jennifer Glockner and Brianne Willis. Center hours are 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. Available services include:
- Online access to medical information and more through MyChart
- Prescription delivery available from some locations through King’s Daughters Family Pharmacies
- More convenient late hours at several practices
- On-site lab and X-ray services
New patients are welcome. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call the center at (740) 574-9301.
