Family care centers host open house events with free screenings

As spring approaches, King’s Daughters Family Care Centers, Medical Specialties practices and Walk-In Care clinics are flinging open their doors and inviting everyone to come visit, participate in free screenings, meet the providers and enjoy free refreshments and giveaways!

“We’re excited to invite the community to visit our centers,” said Lisa Ashley, primary care team leader. “And, we hope they will take advantage of this opportunity to establish with a primary care provider.”

Screenings include blood pressure, glucose, skin cancer, cholesterol, glucose, EKG and carpal tunnel; offering varies by location. Appointments are not required. For additional information, contact the center closest to you.

New patients are welcome. Advantages of seeing providers at King’s Daughters primary care centers include:

• Online access to medical information and more through MyChart
• Prescription delivery available from some locations through King’s Daughters Family Pharmacies
• More convenient late hours at several practices
• Services such as X-ray and lab are available at many locations
