It’s hard to believe, but summer is almost over for thousands of kids in the Tri-State area. Soon, it will be time for school supplies, backpacks, new shoes and all of the hundred details that go into getting ready for a new school year.
In the midst of all that, King’s Daughters Cedar Knoll Pediatrics is helping parents and kids take care of health-related aspects of back-to-school with a Kid’s Carnival, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23.
The Kid’s Carnival will be held at King’s Daughters Cedar Knoll Pediatrics, 10650 U.S. Route 60, near the Kyova Mall. Parents will be able to meet King’s Daughters pediatricians and providers; ask questions about immunizations; get information about health issues and concerns affecting children, and more.
Back-to-school immunizations will be provided (insurance will be billed). Please bring immunization records. Free sports physicals will be available for kids playing junior high or high school sports (bring sports physical form).
There will be inflatables to play on, Sno Cones, popcorn, cotton candy and lots of fun for the entire family.
King’s Daughters pediatricians include Muhammad Idrees, M.D., Jonathan Maynard, M.D., and Brittani Dingess, D.O. Nurse practitioners specializing in the care of children include Kelley McArthur, Kimberly Stapleton, and Laura Wells.
