King's Daughters welcomes physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist Sarah Zalone, D.O., to its medical staff. Zalone will be providing PM&R services to patients at King’s Daughters Grayson and Olive Hill Family Care centers.

Zalone completed her medical degree at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pikeville, Ky., and internal medicine internship and PM&R residency at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, Ky.

A PM&R physician diagnoses and treats medical conditions associated with injuries and disabilities, including bone and joint, mobility concerns, gait disorders, pain and muscle stiffness. PM&R physicians work collaboratively with neurologists, orthopaedists, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and primary care physicians to help patients improve function.
