King's Daughters hosts Career in Healthcare event Sept. 1

Have you ever considered a career in healthcare? Find out more about the wide-open possibilities at King's Daughters Careers in Healthcare event from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 in the Center for Advanced Care lobby, 22nd Street, Ashland.
Learn about the career and education prospects for nurses, patient care technicians, EMTs and more. King’s Daughters recruiters, along with representatives from Ashland Community and Technical College, Kentucky Christian University, Ohio University Southern, Indiana Wesleyan University, Shawnee State University and others will be available at the event.
King’s Daughters is offering 10 scholarships for those interested in becoming patient care technicians. Those who pass the course, will be hired. PCTs assist RNs and LPNs in patient care, and often go on to earn nursing degrees themselves.
